MASHA’s Mission MASHA was organized in 2007 as a not-for-profit alliance to promote awareness of proactive safety practices through education and networking opportunities. We intend to meet our mission by conducting periodic safety and health conferences in western Pennsylvania for anyone in labor, industry, academia and students who are interested in occupational safety and health. MASHA initiated its mission by conducting a Kick-Off Safety Conference in October 2009. The Kick-Off Conference was attended by over 175 participants. The MASHA 2K10 Safety and Health Conference features three separate tracks to meet your safety and health needs:
Our featured speaker is Ed Selker, OSHA Region III - Deputy Regional Administrator, who will present the keynote address. Mr. Selker has been with OSHA since 1976. He has served as the Assistant Area Director for Health for the Pittsburgh Area Office and the Area Director for the Erie Area Office. Mr. Selker and his family still reside in the Pittsburgh area. We welcome him home to Pittsburgh.
